Appointments

  • We require an appointment due to our intimate setting. Our boutique set-up allows us to style a limited amount of brides at a time. We believe this is a once in a lifetime experience, so why not make it an occasion! We encourage you to arrive on time. Not too early and definitely not late!   • No. We are by appointment only and we honor those appointments first. We want every bride to have a supreme shopping experience with us so we request that you please contact us to schedule an appointment rather than dropping by.

  • Every bride is different, it is completely your decision who you invite to your appointment. Some women prefer to shop alone while others prefer a crew. We suggest that you select the 3 most important people to accompany you and to provide friendly, loving feedback along this very important, special milestone in your wedding planning journey. If you need to bring more than 3 people, we ask that you book a VIP appointment (details below). If you have any questions or need suggestions on who to bring to your appointment, contact us at anytime.

  • We reserve an hour (60 minutes). If you need additional time, we will do our best to accommodate. In our years of experience, we are often able to find our client's dress within the first thirty to forty-five minutes!

  • Please bring along your favorite undergarments (strapless bra, Spanx, etc.). Heels are optional. If you have any heirloom items you want to wear with your wedding gown such as mom’s veil, please bring this to your appointment. If you have any special requests, please contact us. We would love to personalize the experience for you and your guests.

 

Our Gowns

  • Our prices range from $1,500 to $5,000. We find that the majority of brides spend between $1,800-$2,500.

  • Our designers are able to fit brides from size 0-38+. In store, we carry ready-to-wear/sample sizes 8 - 28 (bridal sizes 12 - 32). Our inventory changes regularly, so if you are interested in trying on a particular size or have concerns about sizing, please consult with us when you reserve your appointment.

  • Our designers can be found here. In addition to these designers, we have exclusive gowns from our in-house private label. We worked alongside designers to curate and design special gowns only found at Gavin Christianson Bridal that are exclusive to you!

    We carry a collection of bridesmaids, veils, bridal jewelry, hairpieces, and undergarments along with flower girl dresses and tuxedo rentals.

  • Most of our designers require at least 6-9 months to complete production & delivery of gowns. Some of our designers have limited stock available in house and with most designers we are able to do rush production & shipping for an additional fee. We encourage brides to shop 9-12 months before their wedding date when at all possible.

  • All purchases are final sale.

    If I LOVE an off-the rack gown, can you hold it for me overnight while I sleep on it?

    If you love an off-the-rack gown, but need to sleep on it, we are proud to offer the Sleep-On-It Dress Hold Fee which allows us to take your gown off the floor for 3 days. This $200 fee goes towards the purchase of your gown, or can be put towards another gown if you decide to go with a different dress.

    If you decide not to purchase a gown - your $200 can be spent on any of accessories and/or veil purchase as long as it’s used within 30 days!

 

Alterations

  • Yes, all wedding dresses need alterations. Common alterations include the addition of a bustle, hemming, adjusting sleeves and straps and taking in or letting out the bust, waist and/or hips. Alterations are not included in the price of gowns.

  • Yes! We love helping to craft one-of-a-kind looks for our brides and majority of our designers allow for gown customizations in some way. As part of your styling experience, your stylist will share with you the custom options available for your wedding dress.

 

Purchase Process

  • All made-to-order gowns require a deposit if not paid in full. Payments can be made with credit card, cash, money order, personal check or bank check. Be sure to ask about our payment plans and in-house financing offers.
